Through Google Calendar UpdateAI will be able to join your Zoom meetings. This will give UpdateAI visibility into your calendar up to 30 days in advance, and we will distinguish between one-off and recurring meetings.
Make sure to select your Google work account (UpdateAI will not work with personal accounts).
During the setup process, we will request that you choose a specific calendar from your Google Account from which we can retrieve your events. Please note that you can only select one calendar for us to retrieve events from. Typically, this will be your default calendar, which is usually the one labeled with your name (as demonstrated below).
Kindly be informed that UpdateAI solely retrieves events from the calendar you have selected. We do not monitor or view events from any other subscribed calendars. Your privacy is important to us and we take it seriously. It is worth noting that although we have access to those other calendars due to Google's current permission limitations, we will not utilize that access in any way.
The image above depicts the required permissions that must be granted. It should be noted that Google's permissions framework does not allow for more specific permissions to be requested by UpdateAI. Therefore, although we request permissions to edit, share, and permanently delete events from all your calendars, we will not utilize those permissions. Our sole purpose is to view information on events from the specific calendar that you have connected to us.
