🔗 How to Connect Your Google Calendar
Use your Google Workspace (work) account—UpdateAI does not support personal Gmail accounts.
During setup, you’ll be prompted to select a specific calendar (usually your default calendar).
Only one calendar can be selected. UpdateAI retrieves events only from that calendar and does not access events from other calendars you may be subscribed to.
🔒 Data Access and Privacy
UpdateAI only processes:
Event metadata such as time, title, description, guests, and video conferencing links.
It does not access calendar content beyond what is necessary to identify meeting participation and context.
Even though Google requires UpdateAI to request broad permissions (like edit, share, and delete), UpdateAI does not use these permissions. It does not create, modify, or delete calendar events.
Important Note: Google does not allow developers to request “read-only” access for a single calendar. As a result, UpdateAI must request permissions that appear broader than its actual usage.
UpdateAI adheres strictly to its privacy policy and:
Never accesses calendars other than the one explicitly selected.
Never shares calendar data with third parties unless required for performance of the system.
Never uses access to perform actions on your behalf (e.g., inviting others, modifying events).

Join meetings without requiring the bot if Zoom cloud recording is enabled.
