Mapping CRM Fields and Properties
Updated over 3 weeks ago

UpdateAI enhances its capabilities by integrating with your CRM, extracting key information about your contacts and accounts. This allows you to leverage UpdateAI's features more effectively, utilizing your CRM's metadata and property structure.

Benefits include:

  1. Portfolio Insights: Segment insights based on information pulled from CRM properties, such as lifecycle stage, priority, and renewal timelines of accounts. See here.

  2. Account Pages (Upcoming Feature): A comprehensive view combining vital CRM data, like contract value, with your account history on UpdateAI.

Effortless CRM Mapping for Workspace Owners and Admins

Mapping your CRM properties to UpdateAI is straightforward, managed at the workspace level, and is currently exclusive to workspace owners and administrators. Once configured, the entire workspace benefits from the enriched data connection.

Setup Guide:

Step 1: As a workspace owner or admin, navigate to the β€˜My Workspace’ section in your settings. Locate the CRM Setup area.

Step 2: Compare the listed UpdateAI properties to your CRM's properties. Use the dropdown menus to map each UpdateAI property to its most relevant CRM counterpart.

If your CRM properties are updated at any time on the CRM Admin side, you'll need to disconnect and reconnect your CRM integration to actively pull in the new properties. We're working on removing this step in the very near future (Q125)

Note: It's not mandatory to map every property. Focus on those that will most enhance your insight segmentation within UpdateAI. If you identify a missing field that could add value, we welcome your suggestions at support@update.ai.
