Overview

  • To use UpdateAI with your CRM, a primary CRM profile needs to be set up by a workspace owner or admin. Owners or admins may do so here.

  • Workspace members cannot link their personal CRM accounts to UpdateAI until this primary profile is established.

Benefits of a Primary CRM Profile

  1. Fallback for Meeting Recaps: UpdateAI defaults to the primary CRM profile to push meeting recaps if the meeting host hasn't connected their own CRM account (or doesn't have one).

  2. Unified CRM Integration: Ensures all workspace members are associated with the same CRM instance, maintaining data consistency.

  3. Improved Performance: With a unique account list per workspace, UpdateAI refreshes data hourly, enhancing integration speed and accuracy.

Setting Up the Primary CRM Profile

  1. Navigate to 'Settings'.

  2. Select the checkbox "Push meeting recaps to the CRM under this profile for all members of my workspace that do not have their profile connected."

Example Scenario

  • Participants: Josh (member) and Jess (admin) in the Acme Inc. workspace.

  • Situation: Josh hasn't linked his CRM to UpdateAI but hosts a meeting and gets a recap.

  • Solution: Jess has set up her CRM account as the primary profile. UpdateAI sends Josh's recap via Jess’s account.

Additional Notes

  • UpdateAI prioritizes the meeting owner's CRM account to push recap notes, only using the primary profile as a fallback if that option has been enabled.

  • This process verifies all workspace members use the same CRM instance, preventing data discrepancies across different CRM systems.
