UpdateAI Account Pages: Data Access and Privacy Rules

Balancing comprehensive insights with data privacy across your customer accounts.

Updated over 2 months ago

The purpose of UpdateAI's account pages is to provide key insights about each prospect or customer account across your organization.

However, maintaining privacy on these pages can be complex. It’s essential to balance comprehensive access to critical information with protecting sensitive data shared in confidential meetings with various stakeholders.

This article explains what data is used to generate each AI-powered component of the account insights page and which users have visibility to that data. For more details on configuring privacy and visibility settings for meeting recaps, visit this article.

Data and Visibility Breakdown:

  1. 'Upcoming and Past Meetings' tab
Users can only view the meetings listed on an account page if they also have access to those meetings in their main meetings dashboard. Additionally, only past meetings that were successfully completed and processed will be displayed on the account page.

  2. 'AI Summary History' tab
Only the user who requested the combined meeting summary can view it in the "AI Summary History" tab of the account page.

  3. 'Ask Me Anything' (AMA) sidebar
This feature draws only from meetings you have access to and the results are stored privately for your eyes only. Others will not see the AMA responses to your questions when they enter their own view of the account page.

Key Features with Full Account Visibility:

The following components contain information from all meetings conducted between any member of your workspace and the customer account, regardless of individual privacy settings, and are visible to all users in the workspace:

  • Stakeholder Profiles

  • Topics

  • Insight Frameworks

  • Account Story
