How to connect UpdateAI with Gong API for Call Analysis (Workspace Admins and Owners only)

1. Click on Settings.

4. Look for the Gong card. Click on 'How to get my gong credentials?' for instructions. (The following steps should match the steps shared by Gong, but just in case it's a good idea to read the instructions yourself.)

5. Navigate to your Gong workspace.

6. Click on Company settings.

8. Click on API KEYS.

10. Copy the access key.

12. Paste your Access Key into the correct field.

13. Go back to Gong and click on Show secret.

15. Go back to UpdateAI and paste the Access Secret Key into the correct field.

18. Choose all of the call you want to import. (Please note that at this time there is no way to search, filter or sort the available meetings. We are working on that for the next release.

19. Click on Import (#) calls.

20. Be sure to read the short warning about notifications before importing. You can make the necessary adjustments before proceeding by opening another UpdateAI tab.

22. You will see the status of all the calls being imported.

23. Take note of the calls you are importing (date and title) so you can search for them later.

24. Click on Close. Go about your business.

25. After approximately 10 minutes per meeting, navigate back to your past meetings dashboard by clicking Meetings in the sidebar.

26. Click on Past Meetings.

27. Click on 'Custom Dates' and change the searchable date range to include the dates of the meetings you imported.

28. In the search bar, type one of the meeting titles you are searching for. (In this case, I'm searching for the H sync meeting.)

29. If all has gone well, you will see the meetings you imported!

30. Clicking on the status descriptor will explain where in the processing process this meeting is.

31. A little while later, you can search again or refresh the page. When processing is complete, you will see 'Ready' as the status.

32. You can also check on the status by navigating back to the Gong integration card and clicking import.

33. This time you will see the status of all meetings already started or completed.

34. You can also repeat the process by selecting additional meetings.

35. Click on Import (#) calls to complete the process. Have fun importing!
