Deleting Your UpdateAI Account

These are the steps to take if you no longer want to use UpdateAI and would like to remove or delete your account.

Updated over a week ago

If you no longer wish to use UpdateAI, here's what you need to do to delete your account.

Remove Google Third-Party Access

When you set up UpdateAI, you granted access to your Google Account. To remove UpdateAI, you'll want to remove that access. Doing this prevents UpdateAI from accessing any more info from your Google Account.

  1. Under “Third-party apps with account access,” select Manage third-party access.

  2. Select the app or service you want to remove.

  3. Select Remove Access.

Remove UpdateAI from Zoom

You have two options for doing this...

OPTION 1: (Easiest)

  • Head to your settings page in the UpdateAI portal.

  • Go to the Zoom integration and select to 'Disconnect'.

  • UpdateAI will no longer have access to your Zoom account and will no longer trigger for Zoom to record your meetings.

  1. Select Remove next to "UpdateAI."

  2. Select your uninstall reason.

  3. Select Remove.

Canceling or Deleting Your Account

You may delete your account by going to your settings page.

Head to the 'Danger Zone' 🪖 under 'My Account' and select to Delete your account .

PLEASE NOTE: Once your account is deleted all data associated with your account will be discarded and will not be recoverable.

We are currently unable to accommodate requests to 'Deactivate' accounts (meaning that they would be suspended and reactivated at a later time).
