UpdateAI Quick Start Guide #9: Excluding insights and meetings from Account and Portfolio Insights dashboards
Updated over a week ago

1. Navigate to your Past Meetings list.

2. Occasionally, meetings will be recorded that actually have nothing to do with your product. For example, in this meeting, my colleague and I from UpdateAI were meeting with one of our vendors, Thena.ai (they are fabulous by the way).

Note: only the meeting recap owner or workspace admin or workspace owner can control these settings. If you see an insight that should be excluded in a meeting that your don't own, please contact the owner or admin and suggest they make the change.

3. By clicking into that meeting, I can now choose which insights to include or exclude from the account insights and portfolio insights dashboards.

Step 3 screenshot

4. You will first need to scroll down to the insight topics: Risks, Product Feedback, Advocacy and Important Numbers. (Notes associated with the TL;DR and Action Items section are not included in dashboards by default, so there is no need to exclude those.)

Step 4 screenshot

5. When you highlight an insight, you will see a message telling you if the insight is included in Account and Portfolio Insights or not.

Step 5 screenshot

6. If you click on the icon for the insight, you will see the message change to say this insight is being excluded from Account and Portfolio Insights.

7. Continue to review all other insights...

8. ... excluding them as needed. (You can always reverse the decision.)

Step 8 screenshot

9. There is also the option to exclude insights at the meeting level, instead of the insight level. Just look for the green toggle at the top of the recap screen.

Step 9 screenshot

10. Click on the switch to change the setting, from included to excluded, or from excluded to included.

Step 10 screenshot

11. The new text will indicate if this meeting is being included or not.
