Managing Topics

Workspace Owners and Admins have exclusive access to customize topics within the Portfolio Insights VoC Topic Discovery dashboard. These changes apply across all workspace meeting insights.

To get the most out of Topics:

  1. Create custom Topics to monitor specific themes across customer conversations

    • Click the "Create Topic" button on the Topics dashboard

    • Enter a title and description for your new Topic

    • Save your new Topic

    • Note: Custom Topic insights will only be generated moving forward

  2. Follow Topics that are important to you

    • Click the "Follow" button next to any Topic you want to track

    • New insights from your followed Topics will appear in your weekly Friday digest email

    • Note: Any Topics followed by anyone in a workspace will be automatically pinned to the workspace dashboard

Actions you can take on a topic:

Pin a Topic

  • Click the "Pin" option for important Topics

  • Pinned Topics won't be lost during Topic recalculations

Disable a Topic

  • Select "Disable" to keep a Topic on the dashboard until the next recalculation

  • Disabled Topics won't gather any new insights

  • This action is reversible (can be enabled/disabled at any time)

Remove a Custom Topic

  • Select "Remove" to delete a custom Topic permanently

  • This option is only available when a Topic has no insights

Archive a Custom Topic

  • Select "Archive" to remove a custom Topic from the dashboard

  • Archived Topics won't gather any new insights
